This page is supposed to be a set of links to places that other people mentioned around these pages have used and decided were pretty damn useful/funny/sexy etc. Any new link suggestions or broken link fixes etc. can be uploaded by mailing me.

For anyone thinking of downloading anything from the internet using Microsoft Windows it is vital that you use adequate virus protection software. RATS users should be aware that they can always download the latest version of Dr Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkit from the CICS page - Dr Solomon Antivirus Software for RATS Users (current version: 7.98). Your RATS account will stay active for as long as your Sheffield Uni. CICS account - the removal of this is covered in the offical note about CICS: Student Account Deletion.

It should also be noted that CICS have some other interesting downloads available at their ftp site in the Directory of /pub/uni/academic/A-C/acs/cics including Office 97 Service Release 1/2, Windows 3.1/95 Year 2000 updates, a windows registry cleaner and, for Win NT, a disk and pagefile drefragger as well as others which might save you some download time if you were otherwise going to resort to the Microsoft web site ..... :)
